Most trips go exactly to plan. If one doesn’t, knowing where to go makes a stressful moment much easier, especially when time matters, as it does with PEP.

Before you fly

  • Pack condoms and lubricant you trust.
  • If you take PrEP, bring enough for the trip, plus a few spare days.
  • Save a clinic’s address and messaging contact in your phone.

If something happens

  • Note the time, then contact a clinic the same day.
  • Many Bangkok clinics have English-speaking staff and accept walk-ins.
  • Ask for enough medication to finish your course at home, and a letter for your own doctor.

When you get home

Book your follow-up tests with your usual clinic or doctor, and bring your medical letter so they can see what you were given.
