Most trips go exactly to plan. If one doesn’t, knowing where to go makes a stressful moment much easier, especially when time matters, as it does with PEP.
Before you fly
- Pack condoms and lubricant you trust.
- If you take PrEP, bring enough for the trip, plus a few spare days.
- Save a clinic’s address and messaging contact in your phone.
If something happens
- Note the time, then contact a clinic the same day.
- Many Bangkok clinics have English-speaking staff and accept walk-ins.
- Ask for enough medication to finish your course at home, and a letter for your own doctor.
When you get home
Book your follow-up tests with your usual clinic or doctor, and bring your medical letter so they can see what you were given.
